Sol is a fierce guitarist, bassist, and soulful singer who has toured around the world with many roots, funk, and blues legends. Sol can perform acoustic sets focusing on piedmont blues, folk, and rock.
Sol has learned directly from piedmont roots and blues Legends such as Guitar Gabriel,
Cootie Starks, John Dee Holeman, Drink Small, George Higgs, and Cool John Ferguson as well as performing with heavyweights such as Taj Mahal and Kenny Wayne Shepherd.

Sol has been on bills with artists such as The Wood Brothers, Jackie Greene, Jon Cleary, Walter Wolfman Washington, Robert Randolph and more. Paying homage to the greats, Sol seeks to push musical boundaries and bring Roots Music to a new generation of listeners.
Sol is proud to have been invited onto the Board of Directors of the Songwriters Association of Washington. SAW is a non-profit organization dedicated to the original music scene in Washington DC and through out the East Coast US. SAW sponsors the Mid-Atlantic Song Contest, one of the longest running song contests in the nation.
